General Rules

  • Lindy hop advanced and advanced plus have to do level test.
  • The teachers’ decision concerning levels must be accepted. Those not attending the audition or not accepting the teachers’ decision will not be allowed to attend the classes nor will be entitled to a refund.
  • If you registered with a partner, any level change will also affect the partner you registered with.
  • The organization will try to make classes as homogeneous as possible in terms of leader-follower balance. Although it is not required, we therefore advise you to register with a partner. If for any reason the number of leaders-followers is not balanced, a waiting list will be created.
  • You will not be able to attend the classes unless you have booked and paid for in advance any activities as applicable. Under no circumstances will registration and payment be accepted once the event starts.
  • Attendance as an observer to classes of a different level from your own is not allowed. Teachers and members of the organization have the authority to expel anyone breaking this rule.
  • It is forbidden to record photographic, audio and video materials during the classes, except at the end of the class if the teachers give their consent. The festival’s organization may record such material during the event for promotional purposes.
  • Food and glass bottles/containers are not allowed inside the classrooms, they can only be brought into designated areas.
  • The facilities and the organization are not responsible for any items or personal belongings left in the locker rooms.
  • It is strictly forbidden to distribute any promotional materials unrelated to the event unless specifically authorized by the festival’s organization.
  • Once payment is made, students unable to attend part of or all the classes will not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances, except if the school cancels the classes.
  • The organization reserves the right to change the time, date and location of the classes if considered appropriate for the event.
  • Since the capacity of the parties is limited, admission priority will be given first to students registered in the festival (white pack or black pack) and secondly to Blanco y Negro Studio students. Finally, and only if there is still capacity, parties will open to the general public.
  • All students are requested to respect the basic standards of behaviour. Any bad attitude, disrespect to the organization team, teachers, or peers, any lack of personal hygiene and/or the breaking of any of the above rules may be grounds for expulsion from the event.
